English Springer Spaniels, Perth and South West Australia

​About:

 

We are a Mother/Daughter-in-law team residing in both the South West of WA (Kim) and Thornlie, WA (Gemma). Our aim is to breed according to the breed standard and continuing a successful show career with 'the crew'. 

​

We breed the English style of English Springer Spaniels, focusing on correct conformation and temperament. All our dogs are PRA Cord Tested, have an Eye Specialist Certificate of Examination and are Hip and Elbow Scored.

 

We're only a small shower/breeder and our dogs are all much-loved family members. We do from time to time breed a litter and some puppies are available on Limited Registration to only the VERY BEST loving & forever homes.

Kim:

My first Springer Spaniel was the beautiful " Aust Champ Deferlee Sweet Kis Met" (Pippa) from Lee Ann Corbett in 2013.

Pippa is now retired and spends her day keeping everyone in line!

 

I've also been so fortunate to secure a wonderful young male "Aust Ch Cardhu Dare To Chase" (Oliver) from Jan Waite. Oliver has had great success in the ring and obtained his title in 2020.

 

The beautiful "Larona Whisper My Name" (Chelsea) has arrived to join our family and show team. Many Thanks to Sharyn Phillips for entrusting this stunning girl to me.

We're looking forward to showing our new up and coming show girl Arawhiti Molly Poppinz (AI) (IMP NZ). A huge thank you to Robynne & Nigel Trainor for enrusting this amazing young girl to us.

Gemma:

I fell in love with dog sports some 15 years ago when I competed in Obedience, Agility and Rally-O with my first dog, a whippet X named Leo.

 

After falling in love with English Springer Spaniels, I started showing with Kim and we had our first Briabrae show baby arrive in the dog show ring in 2021, "Briabrae Moon Over Alderaan" (Leia). We've had a wonderful time experiencing success in the show ring and training for obedience, tricks and agility. She is an Oliver x Chelsea baby and a massive part of the family. We're now fortunate enough to be showing one of her offspring, Lenni (Briabrae Cheek to Cheek).

I'm very grateful to Kim for allowing me to be a part of the continuation of the prefix and this beautiful girl and am very excited to see where the next years take Briabrae! ❤️
